Short Film Express

Learn how to make a short film, from script to the screen. In 5 days you will learn how to transform an idea into a movie. Aspiring filmmakers will write a script in a proper software, pre produce and shoot it.  Also they get to watch the editing process. On the 6th day a 1st Cut of the short film is screened.

Learn how to behave on a film set. Who’s who on set? What does a Producer do? What does a 1st AD do? What is a Call Sheet and how to read it? What’s does set etiquette mean? Everything you need to function on a set in a regular basis.

Character Creation

Workshop designed for Actors. Be your character instead of acting it. You will learn how to mold a character from scratch. The importance of body language and facial communication. Learn how to  apply directions from the director. Play a character in different ways. 

It’s not about learning how to cry, it’s about communicating what your character feels.

Advanced class for filmmakers. It’s a minimum requirement to have had produced at least 5 scripted independent projects or two commercially distributed ones.

The goal is to maximize the resources that a production has: time, people and money. Anticipating scenarios and reducing trial and error.

An overview of all the process necessary to take a project from inception to delivery: Chain of Title, Development, Financing, Pre Production, Production, Post Production, Distribution & Ancillary. 

Identify the roles of the entities involved on a project: Rights Ownership, Studio, Network, Streamer, Production House, Financier, Agents, Managers, Legal Counsel, Government, Above the Line, Below the Line, etc. Both at national & international level.
